Wedding jazz trio coming up in September

I am very much looking forward to doing a paid gig with two fantastic musicians that till now, have only jammed with – Mat on bass and Andrew on Trumpet.

The clients had quite a small budget but we’ll still put on a great show. I play solo piano earlier on in the day. These two musicians are much better than other musicians who do gigs all the time.

Fran Landesman passed away

Fran wrote the lyrics to a number of jazz standards including Spring Can Really Hang You Up the Most and Small Day Tomorrow.

It was an honour to meet Fran and chat with her about her friend Miles Davis, who she hung out with in the 60′s.
